“Waclaw kept friendships with his Polish friends over the years. He was proud to be Canadian, and invited his mother to stay, once when he lived in North Vancouver and the other time when his child was young in Maple Ridge. He will best be remembered by friends and family for his love of mini coopers, helping others, and remembering good times engaged in soccer and competitive rowing.”

May he rest in peace

Condolence Messages

  1. Michael was a dear friend! We dubbed him Gepeto in our group. He regularly visited me at work for years and quickly became part of our family. His stories from childhood to coming to Canada and his life here were captivating and had us full of laughter. I could go on and on telling tales of his kindness and generousity. Always had a yellow rose for the ladies and treats for the kids AND the dogs. He is sorely missed with great fondness and loving memories.

    Cooter and the clan.

  2. Michael was a kind youthful soul. Always saying he was younger then he actually was because he never felt his age. So many stories about his life growing up, and moving to Canada. He was always kind and so generous to those around him. Farewell my fedora wearing friend I will wear mine with pride. Much love. Rest in peace.

  3. Mike attended the Coquitlam Prostate Cancer Support group many times and was a hard to forget member. I recall a Christmas dinner when he came dressed as a aristocrat from many ears past with a wig and the whole bit. Then he handed out roses to all the ladies present. We tried to keep in touch but lost contact and sad to hear that he passed away. On behalf of the group our condolences, and may he rest in peace. We chatted many times about his minis, I wonder what happened to them.
