So long Syd. We knew you only briefly but your impact remains. Character is far too often in short supply but you possessed enough for two lifetimes.

  6. To the family my deepest sympathy in the passing of Syd. Having spent so much time in the heavens may He know the way.

  7. Syd, our memories go way back. Macclesfield, you trudging across the moor to visit your beloved Jean. Usually having to have Cath, Joe or Hilda tag along! Visiting you both on the farm and sharing many happy family “do’s” together. All our love to the family.

  11. I worked with Syd many years ago but never forgot him, a very friendly and wonderful man. Saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy

  12. Shared many enjoyable moments with Syd through the flying club. Lots of stories and laughs over coffee !
His unbridled confidence in taking delivery of a bi-plane on Vancouver Island which he proceeded to fly back to Pitt Meadows stands as an endearing memory. Be in peace old friend.
