Born in Smithers, BC, Saturday September 27, 1997
Called to Heaven Thursday November 23, 2017
Taken from us so unexpectedly.
Very special daughter to Bryan Deagle (Lisa) of Telkwa, BC and Lenore Elliott of Maple Ridge, BC. Beloved little sister to Braedyn Deagle. Stepdaughter to Bruce Gabara and Stepsister to Brockton Gabara.
Treasured by Damma Diane Deagle, Grandma Edith Elliott and Grandpa Art Gabara. Niece to Denise and Troy Nelson, Thea and Greg Gibson, Lori and Glenn Mol, Joe and Allison Gabara. Loved by cousins and friends.
René was welcomed into Heaven by Great Grandparents, Great Aunts and Uncles. Uncle Alan Deagle, Grandpa Norris Deagle, Grandpa Morris Elliott, Granny Olga, Auntie Mae, Kira and Morgan.
René always Believed, always saw the best in everyone and lived in every moment!
She is Loved.
Her Celebration of Life will be held Sunday December 03, 2017 at 1:00p.m. at Garden Funeral Chapel – 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge BC.
A second Celebration of Life will be held in Smithers, BC, Spring 2018.

I still have no words to express how deeply saddened I am by your loss. Although I only met Rene once, I could tell she was truly an amazing young woman. God has a plan for her. That I believe. May you both be given strength in that knowledge.

René and I share many happy childhood memories, and I will miss her dearly the world truly has lost a beautiful light, and was a better place with her phenomenal soul in it ❤️ I am truly sorry that we didn’t get to see each other in recent years. Lenora and Bryan, we are deeply saddened to hear of Renee’s passing. Crystal and Davin used to have so much fun playing with her when we lived in Telkwa in 2003. They never forgot her as her delightful smile and pleasant personality is one noone could ever forget. We are sorry we can’t be there but our hearts and love are with you both. My condolences to the family. I attended Smithers Secondary with René. I always seen her in the hallways. I graduated in 2014 and I often thought of her laugh and smile when I thought back to high school. She would gasp when I swore. She was such a beautiful soul.

We are both sad to hear the news of Rene’s passing. We can not imagine the oain the family is going through, we send our prayers and condolences. We first met Rene when her high school came to our day program coffee house. She would always arrive with a big smile. When I fell and bumped my head at roller skating-she never forgot. She then started greeting me with – you bumped your head are you ok? I will miss her comming up to me every Thursday with her concern for me and her smile. Rene started at Christina day program three months ago and soon made friends. Christina says she is sad and she will miss her friend. Sending hugs.
