  1. RIP Joan and Condolences to the family I’ll always remember fondly your valiant attempts to improve my steps on the dance floor.

  2. The 1948 Graduating class at MRHS will always be grateful to Joan for keeping us all in touch with her annual phone calls and making sure we got together whenever possible. 3. Laurence M. M. Van Kleek

My wife and I wish to express our heartfelt sympathy, especially to Bruce and Betty Graham and all of Joan’s children and family members. You are in our hearts and prayers. Love, Laurie (Laurence) McKee & Darlene Van Kleek

  4. Joan was a cheeky old bag, and a total lady. I did her hair for the last few years of her life and I can quite honestly say she was one of my favourite clients. I appreciated her wit and charm, and though our time together every month was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed it. She always had a kind word for the ladies in the shop and I admire that she spoke her mind unapologetically. She spoke often of her children and how proud she was and how much she loved them all. Joan was a fantastic story teller and I appreciated her honesty. I am honoured that she chose to share so many special memories, secrets and thoughts with me over the years.
I will miss you my dear friend. With love, Carlie

  5. Joan was a wonderful person always well dressed and beautifully put together with her hair and make up; she put together many cruises for me over the years and always made sure there was a bottle of wine in my cabin, Rest In Peace Joan.
