1926 – 2016
James Edward Erlandson, son, brother, uncle and veteran, passed away peacefully in the Ridge Meadows Hospital on March 12th, 2016. “Uncle Jim” was born in Sweden on July 30th, 1926 when his parents lived there for a brief period in the mid-1920s. Arriving in Canada a few years later, Jim spent his formative years in West Vancouver and Burnaby and served briefly in the Canadian Army at the end of the Second World War.
