Just a remembrance of Edna. She was truly my Mom’s favorite cousin. Edna’s Mom and Mom’s Dad were Hadland’s. It was in 1990 and there was a Hadland family reunion. Mom and Edna spent a lazy Sunday afternoon drinking Kahlua and milk. While many of us visited in the shade, we heard my son’s red Camaro fire up and fishtail down the street and round the corner at top speed. Upon their return they got out of the car (out of the sunroof), laughing like teenagers. They had spirit……..I think they were 73 at the time. I cherish that memory.
