Condolence Messages

  1. Deepest sympathies to you, Lois and Hugh and to Shannon, Laurel and Carrie. I look forward to attending the celebration of Earl’s life this Saturday.

  2. Don and Marlene Davis

Sincere sympathy to the family- my husband, Don, did some drywall work for your parents. They never forgot him- and he often remarked on what a nice couple they were and what a kind and gentle man Earl was. I think Don used to receive a Werther’s from Earl when he saw him at the A&W. Every time we have seen those candies Don remarks -“those are the ones that “Mr. Gustafson” passed around!! A “sweet” memory!!that will stay with us – God be with you and bless and give you strength in the coming days.

  3. Brian and Anne Lawless

Earl and June were the best neighbours we ever had! He will be missed. Our condolences to his family.

  4. Our deepest sympathy to all the family on the passing of your dad and grandfather.

Being members of Maple Ridge Baptist Church we have fond memories of both your mum and dad.

We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the service on Saturday as we will be away but you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

God bless you all at this time. Janice & Isobel Gilchrist

  5. Jay & Amber-Lee Zielke

Larry & Barb, you are in our thoughts & prayers as you say a temporary farewell to your dad today. We are very sorry we could not be with you at the service today. Amber-Lee’s favorite place to mow a lawn was at Earl’s. We will miss him, but are thankful to God that we had the opportunity to know him. He is Home now, safe in the arms of Jesus & reunited with June.
    Love & prayers
    Jay & Amber-Lee

Warm greetings to Larry, Barb, Lois and Hugh and your families.

I just saw a posting on Facebook that your dad died. I glanced at the clock and saw that his memorial service was in progress so I paused and prayed for you all. As you know, the Gustafson family has been special in our hearts and lives, starting with your grandmother, Judy.

There are so many memories … my mother bought my first bike from your dad … Earl and June picked me up for young peoples … when I got my car and worked at Fuller-Watson, I drove you and your mother, dropped you at “Fat Nanna’s” and your mom and I continued on to work … Kenton and Lindsay remember Earl’s “candy trips” … the enjoyable “Caravans” … your weddings …

We will be thinking of you and praying for you in this time of adjustment.

    Our love to you all.

    Rodney and Myrna

  7. My sincerest condolences to his family. My prayers goes to his family. May his soul rest in eternal peace and he will forever be in my prayers.
