It goes without saying that I am so sorry for your loss. Although I hadn’t seen Dave in several months, mum & dad always kept me up to date on his condition. He sure was a fighter!

The way that he dealt with his illness was an inspiration to us all. He always had a smile on his face and was always positive, even when I’m sure he was exhausted.

He will be missed by many many people.

Hi Lynda we are so sorry to hear about the passing of Dave, we were just talking about him and wondering how he was doing. We did not find out till we read the Friday paper and the memorial was already over and we are sorry we were not able to be there. Fred really enjoyed working with Dave and his Dad at Haney Brick and Tile in the early 70’s. We always enjoyed seeing you both at the Legion, we have not been to the legion in awhile. Our thoughts are with you at this time and with all of your family. Fred and Leona

  13. To the Cratty family,

Though I never knew Dave all that well, I did see him at your family functions. My heart goes out to you all.

  14. My thoughts go out to you and family even after the many years that have gone by since Dave’s passing. I just read about it today (March 29, 2019) I was a co-worker at Haney Brick and Tile, oh so many years ago with Gordon and Tom there as well. I left there in 1970. Fond memories of when we all were so young. Cheers.
