Chase Warner Davison

CHASE WARNER DAVISON

At only 30 years old, our Chaserman went to be with the Lord after a fatal motor vehicle accident on the evening of September 11, 2018.

Chase loved the Lord with this whole heart. He was a devoted husband to Shannon (Beattie) Davison and proud father to three children: Tristen (4yrs), Ethan (2yrs), and Taylor (1yr). He was the son of Kevin and Chereen and leaves behind his three cherished siblings: older sister Ashlee, older brother Tyrel (Stephanie), and younger sister Kayleen (Matthew); lovingly remembered also by his grandparents Fritz & Lucille Ludwig and George & Lorna Davison. Chase will be deeply missed by all who knew him: his in-laws, nieces and nephews, many cousins, relatives, and close friends.

Chase was a well known and passionate dairy farmer in Maple Ridge, BC. He is remembered fondly as a loving husband, incredible father, creative storyteller, and a gifted athlete. He provided for his family with ease and grace. He was grounded in the Word of God and valued a strong belief in his home. Confirming his faith in Baptism on February 21, 2016, he always pursued a deeper understanding of the Lord and His ways. Chase had big dreams and trusted in Gods plan as he moved towards achieving them. He wisely invested the time of his short life in his family, close friends, and throughout the community, building lasting and meaningful relationships. Anyone who knew Chase knew he had a heart that loved without effort and a contagious spirit. He was always ready to jump to the aid of anyone.

We know Chase touched many lives during his time with us. We invite everyone who wishes to celebrate the life of Chase to join us at 11:00am on Monday, September 24th at Maple Ridge Baptist Church.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

    Davison family
We are deeply saddened by your loss. As neighbours of 29 years backing unto the farm, we watched Chase run around the back field as a toddler, ride in the tractor with his dad, ride around the field on the ATV, drive the tractor on his own and then drive it with kids riding along. We did not know him personally but do know other members of your family and wish to send our heartfelt condolences during this time of your devasting loss, knowing that it has affected you all deeply.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
    Bill and Sandi Rogal

To all of the Davison family I offer my deepest heartfelt condolences. I never knew Chase but knew his parents, grandparents (George and Lorna) , Uncles and Aunts through my business in Maple Ridge. There are no words I can offer that will ease the pain you are going through at this time but I know you all trust in God and although we sometimes do not understand his plan there is a reason for everything. 22. Wilf Van de Velde :

    Kevin, Chereen and Family!!!
Words cannot describe how I felt hearing of this great loss to the Family.
It has been many years since I saw you Kevin when I was selling Westfalia milking equipment back in the ’90’s, and would see Chase come to the barn after school.
Please accept my condolences at this time, and know that your family is in our prayers.
    Wilf Van de Velde

  23. Harold and Jeannie Applin :

We knew Chase as a little guy at Camp Quanoes…..as the Davison’s, Ludwig’s and Applin’s annually went to Family Camp.
Our connections run deep with the Ludwig’s, and our Heavenly Father’s connection is the deepest, as we mourn with you!
“Blessed are those that mourn, for they WILL be comforted”…..words that seems counterintuitive, but oh such a promise!
To be soo close to our Heavenly Father’s heart sometimes only come when we meet Him in the place of mourning………

Love to ALL and underneath are His everlasting Arms!!

  24. Kevin, Chereen and family, although I did not personally know Chase, you and the Davison family have been part of my life for many years. I am so sorry for your tragic loss and you have all my blessings during this terrible time

  25. Beautiful Service of Remembrance, for a life well lived. Thoughts and prayers for the families as you reflect on the numerous cherished memories you have of Chase. May the legacy of faith continue. Blessings.

    To the Davison Family,
We met Chase last year while visiting our Moon family on the farm. A very likeable chap with a sense of humour. We knew family was dear to his heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of this young man.
    Rob & Susan Moon

  28. Kevin and Chereen and your wonderful family, It is such a tough day to bid a final farewell to your lively and loving son. It was never supposed to be like this and it is hard to understand the hows and whys of this unfathomable tragedy. Going forward is so very hard, made all the more difficult because he was such a loyal and faithful son, father and husband. We pray for your strength and your abilities in becoming an even closer family which can help to raise Chase’s children. KIndest blessings to you all, Dr. JIm Findlay

  29. To Kevin and Chereen and family….Our hearts break for the terrible pain.. we sadly know all too well..at the sudden and tragic loss of Chase. There are no words to describe how losing your child so young will impact your family..but we had to reach out and say that it was 13 years ago that we tragically lost our son Jesse(18) and his girlfriend Kaalia(17) in a car accident…and while the journey forward will have many tears..we are here to say that there won’t ever be a day that you don’t think of him and he will forever be in your hearts..but the day will come when all those wonderful memories will bring you more smiles than tears. We hope you are feeling all the love and support and prayers from both family and friends..as well as so many that you don’t know! With our heart felt sympathy..
    Terry and Roberta Herman
