Amanda Susan Bailey

In Memorial

My wife Amanda who passed away on Tuesday, March 27th, 2012 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Me and Amanda came to Canada on May 30th, 1995 and settled in Port Coquitlam where we still live. The funeral for Amanda will be held on Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 at 11:00 am.
I would like to thank all the staff at Garden Hill Funeral Home for all the excellent care and attention I received and most of all the heartfelt feelings I got being with them through this difficult time, I thank you so much.

To my wife Amanda,

You held me captive
Right from the start
A beautiful vision
You pierced my heart

You lifted my spirit
And soothed my soul
You completed my life
You made me whole

You have always been
My rock my shield
If ever I was lost
My heart you would heal

You’re always in my heart
I’ll not say goodbye
’tis only a brief parting
For you and I

Cliff. (Amanda’s husband)

Our sincerest condolonces for your loss Cliff. Mandy was a very good friend and neighbour to us and we will all miss her very much! Dave will always remember her big smile she would give him when he whistled at her over the back fence.

  2. Hello, Kriff
My heart breaks for you, my friend.

I know that Mandy made your life complete. Your friends can never replace that but I know we all want to be there for you.

  3. My dear Cliff
I never had the pleasure of meeting your beautiful wife – but I do know the grief of losing someone dear to your heart. From that space I will tell you that they will never be too far from you and as you remember Mandy in your heart you will feel her presence, the gentle touch of a memory perhaps, or a sense of comfort, or perhaps a gentle healing love enfolding you to ease your tearful grief.

We never lose our loved ones. They want us to go forward because life is to be lived and they too must go forward on their new journey. You can give her the freedom to do that, knowing that the blessed love between you will always be there.

My heart goes out to you – but know your beloved Mandy is safe, happy and free.

    Blessings – Zoe

  5. Dear Cliff,

It is hard to find the words to say how sorry we are that Mandy is no longer with you. I can hardly imagine how you must be feeling after all these years. But as your friend above said, she fought for a long time and now she is at peace.

Know that we are thinking of you and remember you are not alone, lots of love at this sad time….
