In Memorial

March 2, 1946 – February 7, 2012

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Tom Pederson, beloved husband, dad, papa and friend. He is survived by his wife Ann, daughters Cathy and Tammy (Doug), grandchildren Taphanie, Braeden, Noni and Nicky, Sisters Lynda (Mario) and Diane brother-in-law Tom (Gail) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins along with the cats Smokey and Tigger.

Tom’s profession in the transportation industry began as a young boy when he would help his dad at Rapid Transfer. He continued on that path working with many major transportation companies throughout his career. He was president and founder of T & A Enterprises, a freight brokerage company whose roots began back in 1978. Tom went to the office everyday. His chair maybe empty but the company he built will live on.

Tom loved his model trains and especially his hot rods. He was a member of BCHRA and PISRA.

A service to honor Tom’s life will be held at Burnett Fellowship 20639 123rd Avenue, Maple Ridge, BC. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to The Heart and Stoke Foundation or Canadian Diabetic Society.

Condolences for the family of “Thomas Clayton Pederson”

Condolence from Bill & Madeleine Hughes on February 19th, 2012 7:20 pm

Dear Ann & Family,

It is with great sadness to hear of Thomas’ passing. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to have known Thomas when you were our neighbours on 110B Ave.

We always enjoyed Thomas’ seemingly endless yarns about his travels, the years in the transportation business and of course his prized hot-rods.

We will always remember Thomas for his wonderful sense of humour and common sense approach to everything which was so refreshing and the reason why we spent countless hours chatting on his porch.

But what was most evident of all was his absolute love, admiration and devotion for his family to whom he cherished more than life itself.

Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Please accept our sincere condolences in your time of loss.

In Remembrance,

Bill & Madeleine Hughes
