Condolence Messages

  1. Rick and Evelyn :

We are still unable to grasp the fact that Ray will not be on the other side of the fence, tending his flowers, calling out hello as we passed by and being there to keep an eye on our place when we aren’t around. He and Betty were the absolute best of neighbours and they both will be sorely missed. We are so thankful that we had an opportunity to chat with him Monday morning before he left to be with Betty. He was a wonderful friend. We offer our condolences to his family. We will miss him!

  2. Debbie Kennedy & Tony Stevens :

Next door neighbors since we moved here in 2010. Never critical, always watchful and ready to offer advice when asked. We adopted the line that Ray used, “I’m only the caretaker of this garden”. For us that was true but not for Ray. He was tireless in his pursuit of perfection and perfect it was – what a garden! A good neighbor, always ready with a quick joke, and willing to offer guidance to the newbies in the garden. He was a great neighbor and we’ll miss him!!
