Michael Pietruczyk

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Pietruczyk. Michael was born in Kobryn, Poland on November 16th, 1920. He served as a long-time member of the Polish and British Military before immigrating to Canada in 1955, where he has been a long-time resident of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows ever since. Michael leaves to mourn three sisters; Olga Venturis, Sophia Michasiuk, and Nina Holman (Australia), as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, January 18th, 2010 at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge.

   I would just like to say I’m so sorry to hear Mike has passed away. He lived with my family my entire life till I was 18, and he was just like family to me. I will really miss him.
