  1. Gurjit Gill :

I am so sorry for the pain and suffering that you and your family are suffering. Leanne has always spoken so fondly of Mike and through her I see how caring and devoted he was to his family. He has left behind a beautiful legacy of children and grandchildren who loved him very much. I believe he is looking down on all of you and smiling. He lives in your wonderful memories of him and I look forward to hearing his personal stories through his beautiful daughter Leanne and her family. My heart is with you and wish you all the comfort and love that will see you through this time.

    Love, Gurjit

Please know that my prayers are with you…they are filled with wishes of strength and comfort, hope and peace, love and care. This is a difficult time – I wish I could take some of the pain away. Embrace each other, take comfort in great memories and love each other wholly. Let the tears come, give hugs and receive them. Say “yes” to offers of help and service; take time for your family. Mr. Punchak was a loving man who cared deeply for his family – this is what I will hold close. Rita, Leanne, Len, Keith and their families, We will miss Mike deeply. I remember him being so witty and funny, he always made me laugh every time I saw him. I was lucky enough to see him and Rita at Marie’s 50th birthday and he made me laugh then. My condolences and I really wish I could be their in person for his service but unfortunately I have a deadline at work and will not be able to attend. I will however be there in spirit and I believe my sister Leona will be attending. As hard as it is remember that crazy smile of his and it will make you smile. In my thoughts all of you.
