Jennie Rowell

Jennie Ivy Rowell passed away peacefully on January 10, 2012 at 91 years of age. Jennie and her husband Howard (predeceased) moved from Consort, Alberta to Hammond in 1947 and lived in the Maple Ridge area throughout their lives.
Jennie and Howard raised six children; Dale, Carol, Allan, Howie, Cheryl, and Kelly. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jennie worked for a number of years at Woodland’s School, Riverview Hospital and with the Maple Ridge Homemakers.
She was an active and fun-loving person and leaves the family with many good memories.
Jennie was surrounded by her loving family during her final days. At her request there will be no service held.

   We are saddened to hear of Jennie’s passing. We met them when they moved to Hammond and lived near them for several years. Jennie lived a long life and enjoyed every moment while she could Keep your wonderful memories close

   I am very sorry to hear of Jennie’s passing. She was a lovely lady and a really special friend to my Mother, (Thea Scott) while they were living in Royal Crescent Gardens.
   I know that Jennie will be missed and I feel very fortunate to have known her.
