Iren Sarkozi

It is with great sorrow and heartache that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mama and friend.  Iren is predeceased by her husband Karoly.  Leaving to mourn her abrupt passing her children; Karoly Jr, Johnny & Donna, Louie, Linda, Mavis, Laszlo & Kim; grandchildren, Tanya (Johnathan), Johnny Jr. (Dana), Amanda, Tyler (Liz), Brianna, Cody, Karly, Katey, Kelly, Zackary; great grandchildren , Jayden, Nevaeh, Riley.  Born in Kormend, Hungary, making her way with her family to B.C. through Pittsburgh, Iren has many family and friends across the world mourning her passing.  Iren loved to cook and bake for her family and anyone else that would happen to stop by.  She always greeted you with a warm cup of coffee and a plate full of cookies.  Another pastime of Iren’s was “donating” at Bingo, but her main concern was always making sure everyone was together and safe.

Viewing:
Viewing to be held at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 – 224^th Street from 7 – 8 pm on Monday, February 15.  

Funeral Mass:
Funeral Mass to be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 16th at St. Luke’s Catholic Church – 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge.
