Eleanor Elizabeth Wing (nee Staples)

May 28, 1933 -- February 16, 2013
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother. Eleanor fought a hard and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George. She joins her mother, Clara, father, Louis, brothers, Ralph, Alvin & Jim in heaven. Forever cherished by her daughter, Brenda (Vern), son, Daryl (Anne), and daughter, Cheryl (Lloyd). Her six grandchildren, Ryan, Jacquelyn, Danielle, Braeden, Breanna, and Craig will miss her dearly. Her two great-grandchildren, Jaiden, and Kenzie were her sunshine. She also leaves her four brothers, Harvey, Merle, Roy & Don and one special sister, Shirley.

Memorial Service
A Memorial Service will be held at the Garden Hill Funeral Chapel – 11765 224TH Street in Maple Ridge on February 22, 2013 at 2pm.

Donations
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
or McKenney Creek Hospice.

    I worked with Eleanor for 22 yrs at woodwards and had some great times.I knew most of her family ,my deepest sympathy to all of the family she will be missed greatly

    We knew George and Eleanorfor many years -having our trailer next to theirs ar Blackmountain ranch,so had many good times together.So sorry to hear of her passing Love Sam and Arlene

    we send our sincerest sympathy to you Uncle George,and Brenda, Daryl & Cheryl. Aunt Eleanor will truly be missed. We know she loved all of you.
    Aunt Eleanor was always so nice to us whenever we got together. We are so sorry we missed the funeral, we would have been there. Our thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time.
