I know that your beloved son, brother, and friend will be greatly missed, a void left in your heart. Loss of a loved one is difficult, hurts and painful, my prayer for each of you is that God would be your Comfort, give you the Strength to do the grieving work, and give you Peace that passes all understanding. May the memories you have in your heart of Donny live for a life time. This world is a better place because of who Donny is and all he did for those he loved. Hugs and prayer, lots of Love…… Cheryl

Don will be missed by all at Flavelle. Here at Flavelle, it is not unusual for careers to last 20,30,40 or more years. In that time, your co-workers become your friends and second families. I dare say that we spend more time with our co-workers than we do with our real families. That is why I suspect people here stay for 40 plus years. You just don’t retire from your families.

That is why it’s especially hard when your friends that you spent years with have their lives cut short in their prime, are taken from you.

Sadly, Don is not the first, nor the last, I suspect to be taken from us, but it saddens us just as deep. He was truly a free spirit who will continue to inspire us. His untimely passing will cause us always to reflect on the importance of living every moment to the fullest.

For that, we say thank you. Buddy, you will always be with us in spirit.

Condolence from Lois and Darrell Black on July 12th, 2012 2:22 pm

Our hearts go out to Don’s family during this difficult time.
Darrell knew Don through working at the Hammond Mill. He was highly respected and well liked.
We we’re very touched by his positiveness and courage through this difficult illness.

We would have liked to have been there for his Celebration of Life but are away at that time.

Peace for Don.

Memories for his family.

Lois and Darrell Black

Our Family is touched, but not at all surprised by the wonderful words and condolences sent to us regarding Don…DONNY, to us ALWAYS!! 🙂

Thank you so much!

Anyone who ever met him was pretty fortunate to know him, even just a little…but for the ones of us who got to be his family (work one too) or friend…we won the lottery! 🙂

Hmmm Donny Sieben….. A name that brings a smile to my face as I’m sure it does with many others as memories are fondly remembered growing up and laughing in Poco as teens.

You will be missed but NEVER forgotten.

Rest without pain, laugh from the belly and dream in colour Donny, you touched more lives than you realized.
