Corneila Maria “Ria” Duyvestyn

Mar. 18, 1920 – Jan. 27, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother on January 27 at Willow Manor. She is predeceased by her husband Anthony “Tony” Duyvestyn of 51 years, parents Peter and Corneila Vanderhelm, siblings Gerard, Corneila, Leo, Theo, John, Jane, Peter and Luke. She is survived by her children Mary Ann (John), Tina (Len), John (Rita), Toni (Len) and Nancy (Jeff), 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, as well as siblings William, Helena and Lambert. Prayers will be said at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, February 4, also at the church. Interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
