Condolences for the family of “Alice Theresa Hewer (Nee Sache)”

Condolence from Harold Stephens on October 9th, 2012 10:20 pm

Dearest Members of Alice’s Family,

I remember coming out from Burnaby on the BC Electric Train to stay with my Aunt Marcelle(Sache) and Uncle Jack (Northcote). While out in Chilliwack, I spent alot of time in the company of Alice, “Chicki”- Odylle, and Pierre, as we were all around the same age. I have fond memories of those days and the welcoming Sache Family. In my later years, I moved to Chilliwack, and I now live at Eden Care Centre, which is very close to the original Sache Homestead.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Alice’s Family and the Sache Family. Our paths have never crossed since those early days, but over the years we did occasionally keep contact by phone.

With Respect and Blessings,
Harold Stephens

Dear Hewer Family and especially Doris
I have very fond memories of spending alot of time with the Hewer family on Young St.in Chilliwack, as I lived just down the street and became friends with Doris.
I rememer going for the first time to a Catholic church with this family and spending time after school with Doris and Darcey. I also remember spending almost a week at their home in Port Coquitlam because a snow storm closed the freeway to Chilliwack.

My thoughts an prayer go out to you all during this difficult time. Please know that Mrs. Hewer was special in my life even though I have not seen everyone for while. I send my love to all of you
Sincerely
Sherry Enns (Jesperson)
