Gloria Heather Bakken

Gloria Heather (Glo) passed away in Maple Ridge B.C. on July 4, 2010 at age 83 years. Gloria was born and raised in Kent, England, where she was a member of the Women’s Land Army during the Second World War. She moved to Canada after the War and lived in Toronto. She has resided in Maple Ridge for 17 years. Gloria was predeceased by her loving husband Ole; sister Dawn; brother Billy. Survived by her daughter Heather; son-in-law David Taylor, and her beloved grandson, Sa’ar. Also by her brother Tom and Sister Mary. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
