John Yousuf passed away at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, B.C. Canada, on March 30, 2010 at age 63. He is survived by his wife, Magdalene; daughter Rebecca; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Simon.
Funeral Service
Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 7th at 1:00pm at Maple Ridge Baptist Church – 22155 Lougheed Highway, Maple Ridgeth Street, Maple Ridge. A viewing will take place from 11:30-1:00. Interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Donations to the High Way Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.

Pat was known by many and loved by all. Beloved wife of Ronald Eric Jones for 46 wonderful years. She was the rock of our family. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know her was touched by her generous, caring, and thoughtful nature. She was always helping others in some way from her years as an Emergency room nurse through to founding and running the Maple Ridge Chapter of the BC Lupus Society for 23 years.
Memorial Service
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 8th, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Maple Ridge Alliance Church, 20399 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the BC Lupus Society, suite 200 1645 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V6J 1S4.

Robert Douglas passed away peacefully at George Derby Center on March 26, 2010. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne. He is survived by his brothers Gord and Don. There will be a Group Memorial on Monday, April 26th, 2010 at 1:30pm at George Derby Town Hall, 7550 Cumberland Street, Burnaby.

Keith Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2010, at the age of 66. Born September 10, 1943 in Port Arthur, Ontario, Keith will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife Carol, his son Alexander (Michelle), his daughter Kathryn (Jeremy), and his granddaughters Alexis and Jorja. At the family’s request, services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

She is survived by her loving family, husband William, son Greg, 2 grandchildren Lindsey and Brett, 1 brother Gordon and 1 sister Gloria. Derek passed away peacefully on March 23rd 2010. Survived by his children John, Nicole, Heather (Keith), Steve (May), and his 6 wonderful grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beautiful wife Valerie and his parents Arthur and Christine Nelson.
He will be missed by his sister Barbara (Gilli), his many nieces and nephews and extended family. Derek was born in Lucknow, Northern India. He studied at St. Columba’s school in Delhi then moved to Vancouver in 1960. He lived in Maple Ridge for the last 20 years. Derek was a gourmet cook and loved entertaining his many family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765 224th St, Maple Ridge this Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at 10:00am. Donations if desired may be made to the BC Cancer Society.

Barrie Blake passed away at Royal Columbian Hospital on March 21, 2010; Sunday, finally a day of rest. He leaves to mourn, his beloved wife Jackie; daughter, Laura and Ron Geissler; stepsons, David and Jeaneva Bodtcher and Doug and Sheri Bodtcher; grandchildren, Ryan and Katelynn, Cassidy and Hillary; youngest grandson, Palmer; as well as Steven and Carol LePointe and sons Lucas and Sebastian. Barrie was a unique and generous man. After retiring from being a Heavy Equipment Operator, he focused on his hobbies; activities such as music, playing guitar, photography. With his musical talents, he played in many bands i.e. Midnight Eagles. Another one of his hobbies was making the world’s most unique cribbage pegs. Barrie loved to tell and play jokes. He was a strong believer that something worth doing, was worth doing with your very best effort.

Barrie’s Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, March 27 at 2:00pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel – 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge.
